Washington Land Based Casinos
Washington state provides a number of casino and wagering possibilities. Many Washington casinos controlled by local Native tribes are conveniently situated near thruways or Washington cities. Twenty-seven Washington casinos are operated in Native American lands. Each of Washington's casinos offer slot machine games, roulette, chemin de fer, craps, and electronic poker. Other gaming tables, including (but not limited to) baccarat chemin de fer, poker in various forms, off-track betting, keno, and bingo are available at some casinos. The gaming age differs by casino, with a handful approving of wagering at 18, and others not until 21. A couple of other casinos operate in Washington, as well, such as card rooms, or so-called mini-casinos. There are numerous horse tracks in Washington, and wagering is permitted at all of them.
Twenty-four of Washington state's 27 native casinos also offer a digital form of scratch off lottery tickets. These gaming machines have a 5 dollar limit and operate using cards purchased at the casino, instead of cash. The min payout on these machines is legally 75%, set by the state. Washington casinos are not legally obligated to report pay outs on slots.
Washington casinos vary from tiny freestanding businesses to large vacation destinations with hotels, dining rooms, beauty spas, and shows. A couple of the Washington casinos with vacation destinations would make a good starting point for a longer visit, allowing you to experience the natural wonder of Washington state and make short excursions into big urban areas for sightseeing. Las Vegas type displays and entertainment are presented at some Washington casinos.
Washington's gambling restrictions permit a fair amount of leeway with regards to authorized wagering in Washington casinos, as well as for charitable wagering. Internet wagering, however, is illegal in Washington and is a class C felony. Internet horse betting is allowed in some circumstances. Free or practice money net wagering is still authorized. Washington casinos did not speak out on the new laws, even though they beyond question stand to benefit from them.
Washington casinos can be a fun diversion or day junket for Washington residents, a wonderful way to have a night on the town, or an interesting stop on a Washington holiday. Why, one of the many Washington casino vacation destinations might even be a holiday in itself. Washington's gambling restrictions allow for exciting, allowed, wagering all over the state in each of the many fine Washington casinos, so you're certain to discover one you will love, whether you prefer the nickel slots or high-stakes poker.
